If you're looking to save money, but make amazing videos - I would look into DaVinci Resolve 16. It's the best free video editing software that I've seen.

Even I rehearse timing and then click yes. My voice over still doesn't sync with the animation on powerpoint 2013. I use one complete voice over throughout the whole presentation. I set the voice over to play across the slides.

I.e. we have in oil & gas industry many of fatal incidents, the investigation target is to find what went wrong and identify root causes and develop lessons learnt to avoid reoccurrence and save life. Illustration of the incident is very important in my opinion and however we add commented photos won't reflect the instant where the problem happened. Thank you! I use my Blue Yeti microphone to record the voiceover, do a bit of audio editing which you can find in my Audacity tutorial on this channel and that's pretty much it.

My version of PowerPoint on Mac does export to MP4 and MOV and I went and tested it perfectly. I am using v16.37 (PowerPoint 2019 for Mac.) Maybe you need to update? My Mac is Mid 2012 MacBook Pro i5 running Catalina 10.15.5 16Gb RAM and 2TB SSD. Runs like a dream!

In Mac just use screen recording option it will do in seconds.. for audio and vedio.. command+shift+5. in Windows screen recording not there..

What program did you use to create the GIFs? If the rotation point of shapes could be moved then similar animated characters could be created in PPT.

You could technically create something somewhat similar in PowerPoint, but it's just a massive headache. They're all created in After Effects, the perfect program for motion graphics and character rigging.

One that's really easy to use and that I personally enjoy a lot is Camtasia. But for a lower price point, as easy, I would recommend Filmora. However - if you're looking for something completely free, then have a look at HitFilm Express. Hope this helps :)
