I used to draw different frames on a paper. Then it'll be a stick figure chilling by a fire and then a random tnt block falling into the frame. The stick figure then pushes the tnt block into the fire, it then explodes and I always loved drawing the different pieces of wood in each frame, along with the stick figure being exploded along with the block. As well as a lot of blood of course. (I was 10)

Depending on the button pressed, the user could end up on a progression screen, or a game over screen. I don't know the answer, but if you do have to use Microsoft Office Powerpoint specifically you can use a free online version of it if you have an Outlook/Hotmail email account. I don't think it has every feature of the desktop version, I'm not totally sure, but it's a workaround if you don't have it.

I spent a lot of my teens and early adulthood in PowerPoint, but with an entirely different method. I'd create objects on the slide with grouped AutoShapes, then apply the animation effects built into PowerPoint like Motion Paths, Spin, or the simple Appear and Disappear, meaning you can get a lot of animation happening on a single slide. The automation features let you get pretty specific about the timing if you know what you're doing. It certainly wasn't exactly pro quality but it was a lot of fun and certainly better than one might expect.

Man, I made a PowerPoint animation for a 10th grade Science/History project where I had a fight break out between Einstein, Newton, and a third scientist, where they started with talking about their careers, to a 4th stick figure (me), and then after a bit I ask "so whose contributions to science were the greatest?" and thus began their fight, where they were jumping and flipping around, until Newton throws an apple, causing Einstein and the other guy to fall on their faces (iirc the quip I used was something like "I discovered the fundamental laws of gravity, which has helped keep me *grounded!"* [The other two slam into the floor]). The third guy used up all of his material rather early and then it was a 1v1 with Newton bringing up all the facets of his laws and stuff, but Einstein getting the upper hand with quips like "While true, you'll find those are quite *relative!"* And then Einstein starts smacking Newton with time travel, by which I mean he would punch Newton "into last week" and Newton would get hit with something that he dodged earlier in the fight, but right as Einstein was about to punch Newton out of existence, declaring himself the scientist with the greatest number of contributions, when Sir William Crookes, the third scientist who I'd not named earlier, shows up. "Your contributions may be more numerous, but mine is the greatest," Crookes says, as he holds up a Crookes Tube, aka something that looks like a baseball bat FILLLED WITH PLASMA. And thus began the, rather one-sided, lightsaber battle. It had over 40k slides when I presented it in my Science class, and over 50k when I presented it to my History class, as I needed to change up some of the fight scenes (ie, having Crooke bring in the lightsaber earlier), because the inciting question wasn't "who made the most impact" but "who is best remembered," and for this one, Einstein pulls out the win... and steps down, because without Galileo Galilei being the Father of Modern Science, he wouldn't have even had the building blocks to make his greatest discoveries. "I may be remembered as the best Lego builder, to use an analogy, but I'd never be the best if Lego were never invented." I got an A+ on it for Science, and a B+ on it for History, all because I took like eight minutes instead of the five I was allotted in History.

Commenting without watching but the title brought me right back to 8th grade, ca 2002, in computer class, I had a whole series of animations I did in powerpoint using just clipart characters and it got surprisingly complex (I don't know about anymore but back then you could ungroup a clipart image and move its parts around) I had a whole series about a crime-fighting donkey. You don't even have to draw it all, as you can just put the background image as wallpaper in the slide master and just position a „see through“ object that copies the (still) background for all the moving stuff, e.g. where it is not filled with the background img it could be black Oh and you could use VBA to calculate the distance between to objects from a different frame and insert frames to move your objects in n increments

My teacher asked us to make animations on powerpoint and I was surprised when they liked my cringe worthy animation so much that they gave me 1st place, I was baffled cause I suck at everything. It motivated to me to make 5 more animations on powerpoint but then After that I found windows movie maker. I still use powerpoint as a story board as of today but I just keep the animations to myself and some close friends =3=

I was animating on Powerpoint at 12 alongside my friend who was 2 years younger than me. He made a whole minute Digimon fan animation that fit in a floppy disk. I was making vector art as well and some faux RPG detective game, my animation side of thing was mostly focused on hair blowing animation because I thought it looked cool at the time. There's a lot of better option nowadays as I mainly use CSP for art, but I still have fond memory of using PP for that purpose.
