So these are just a few tips that I have learned to make my eyeshadow pop! This video was supposed to go up yesterday but my editing software was being annoying so I had to reshoot it. That's why the thumb nail is slightly different than the video. I hope you guys enjoy it!! 😘😘😘

I'm not dark skinned at all, more a pale olive. But your videos are so informative. Especially since I am a photographer and want to get where I'm doing the makeup for shoots as well, so this is helpful if I ever have dark skin to work with. :)

I am a dark skinned girl and for some reason I was using Mac's paint pot in Painterly to prime my eyes and I was just not getting my shadows to sit properly. I am glad you explained this concept of concealor for me..I am gonna try "fawn" from L.A. girl in my next look :)

omg u are gorgeous!!!! because of my complexion I use the nyx eyeshadow base in the white colour. I'll have to try to set my eyes with setting powder. that's a great idea. I usually just use the wet n wild eyeshadow single that is a very light colour. thanks for the tip!!!!

Another great trick to get eyeshadow to pop is white eyeshadow primer and white crème eyeshadow base and set it with powder. It is good for people with any skin shade and the darker you are the better the trick works. It is a good trick especially for smokey eyes (gray, silver, black, and white shades) or colored eyeshadows in general

I think it's because of the fact that they feel enlightened to watch other people who have differences from them do similar things; it makes people feel less ignorant and open-minded, I don't think its something to take offense, as I believe it comes from a genuine place, but I do think mentioning it all of the time can be pretty cringy and unnecessary like you said.
