I was just going to ask when I saw this reply. I have made lots of hummus where I have used tahini. He has simply used unfrosted normal sesame seeds which we call white til seeds in India. Is there a difference if we don't use tahini ?

I’m from Singapore. I had the best falafel in my childhood when I was 7 year old. Why I said it is the best? The memory of the falafel still lingers 55 years later. It was Indian’s style. Never had another one like this again.

Yes, I use my blendtec for hummus, turns out great. The nutribullet should work as well, just smaller amounts at a time.

+Nessa Rossini Thank you! Do you follow this recipe or another using the blendtec?

craigdoc34 I just make my own. A can of chickpeas, drained. 2 rounded Tablespoons Tahini. a few cloves of garlic. squeeze of lemon juice, drizzle of really good extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt. Use the grind setting. If you want it fluffy just whirl at a high speed at the end. If it's too dry, add a sprinkle of the chickpea liquid or an extra spoon of tahini or olive oil...depending if you have the calories to spare with the oil/tahini. :)
@cmo04298 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks for that info. I'll give it a whirl. :)
