Omg! I’ve needed this video for 20 years 😭 finally someone who understands ❤

I love your routines because you keep sh*t simple and affordable sometimes less is more!You don't need 1000 products like everyone and the campaigns say to style your hair you actually need less to maintain your hairstyle and make it last without frizzing up in a couple of hours which happens if you slap 100 different products on it...I have the same hair type as you so your videos really help and since i stopped using a curl cream and replaced it with a lightweight curling custard a spray lightweight leave in from Garnier for frizz control and a medium hold nourishing water gel i have really seen more longevity Andy healthier hair than when i used really heavy and strong products that destroyed my hair...All these products are just for the companies to sell

I'm so happy to hear that! That is 100% my message so I'm glad it is reaching people.

My hair is exactly like yours and I’ve been watching curly girl videos for years and no one ever talked about how thin and see through the ends get. My curly hair is almost to my waist, I love my long hair, but the last 5 inches are see through. I’m not going to cut my hair but I will try the thickening serum, for sure. Thank you for this video. I will become a new subscriber.

Since most creators with curly hair have thick hair not many talk about it. I hope these tips help you!

The medium hold vs strong hold gel advice is terrific. Never considered that! Thanks!!

Thank you so much for explaining that there’s a difference between thickening products and volume ones. I now realize I always chose volume products expecting thickening results and was therefore always disappointed. Let a new round of experimentation begin! Question: do you think weather is also a factor?
@HolisticEnchilada3 ай бұрын
Glad that was helpful. The weather affects the volume of your hair and humidity can make it "swell", so yes.

The hair stylists always put too many layers in my hair and tell me I need them. It’s so annoying.
@HolisticEnchilada3 ай бұрын
That is annoying. I would be firm next time and ask for exactly what you want. You're paying your stylist, you're the customer, you need to be happy with the service!

@@HolisticEnchilada , I know, but you won’t believe how hard it is for me to get the cut I want. My hair is short now because I kept having to get haircuts corrected.

We always called stringly-looking hair in our house "stribbly" and I find it to be accurate. 😂 Thank you for your tips! You get it. P.S. I love your room -- it's like Greece! 💙 Wow I'm impressed with gals who spend this much time on their hair. I am too lazy. Wash about every 5 days (only brush before I wash), add some products, air dry with some finger help and then not long after inevitably I put it up because I can't stand the warmth on my neck or hair in my eyes, thereby undoing much of the curl. 🤦♀😂

Thanks! I am actually redecorating it soon but keeping the same color scheme.

I have fine/thin high porosity 3b/3c hair and I've recently started my curly hair journey. I'm learning a lot but still trying to find a routine that's right for me. Thanks for this video!! How often do u wash ur hair?
@HolisticEnchilada3 ай бұрын
Usually every other day. I can go longer when it isn't so hot and humid.

Hi Delilah. Can you achieve the thickening result by using the Bounce Curl Volume Edge Lift version of the brush? I am not sure which one I should purchase, the Define version of the brush or the Volume version.
@HolisticEnchilada3 ай бұрын
I honestly can't say because I haven't tried the volume version but I'd think it would work as well. It's probably better for my hair I just don't have it to compare.

I too have thin and low density/porosity hair. I have both and honestly I prefer the volume one. I find that the original one clumps them too much that I have “less” hair. I ended up gifting the other one to a friend that prefers larger clumps.
@blondiejam9243 ай бұрын
I have both brushes I have thinner hair type 2b curls I find the bounce curl volume edge brush makes my waves less curly and longer sometimes even stringy but does give volume the edge brush gives more definition and makes my waves look more spiral and curly I like both for different reasons

What shampoo and conditioner?
@HolisticEnchilada3 ай бұрын
If you're asking which ones I used on this wash day, it was Malibu C Scalp Wellness shampoo and EVOLVh Smart Curl conditioner. If you're asking for recommendations, check out this post: holisticenchilada.com/high-porosity-hair-products-fine-curly-2b-2c-3a-hair/

I have very low density, fine, high porosity wavy/curly hair & when i have it blunt cut it seems like it weighs my waves/curls down in the back even tho I love the blunt. Do you have any recommendations for that?
@HolisticEnchilada9 күн бұрын
I notice this when my hair is long. You can try longer layers and see if that helps.
