I am not quite sure about that. when i google it, it seems like a tiger however on the fishery's website it is mentioned that they do stock Spartic trout Char hence might be spartic.

@@Bijaypun225no its a spartic and if they stock them then thats your answer! Spartic more pale than tiger trout. Are you sure youre allowed to kill them? Be careful as most stocked stillwaters say you only allowed to kill rainbows and put browns and char back.

The fishery does not tell about char on their rules Fishery rules: On a "kill ticket" all anglers must kill their first fish up to the limit of fish allowed, only then go to catch and release. All anglers must report to the lodge on arrival and before departure. Catching fish for other anglers is prohibited. Barbless or debarbed hooks only Boobys on a floating line only Returns book to be filled in before leaving fishery Fishing from bank only - no wading No dogs allowed on the Fishery unless by prior arrangement All Anglers must have a current rod licence Management reserve the right to inspect tackle and bags Please abide by the country code All persons at the fishery are there entirely at their own risk and the management takes no responsibility for any accident, injury, loss or damage to their property or person. But thanks for the concern and will confirm with the owner the next time i visit there..

@@Bijaypun225 No you are right. They allow any species to be killed as I have seen in their website. That is unusual. I think many stocked fisheries insist you put brown and chars back as they more expensive. I look at cost and wow! Expensive to fish.... I only fish for wild trout in UK now. It is cheaper and more pure fishing. UK has some very good wild trout fishing.

Yes, most of the fisheries i have been clearly mention about releasing the brown on their rule and i do so but never seen about char hence i took it. Also please recommend me the wild trout fishing (spots) as i want and might do later...
