How to Make FNAF Security Cameras in Bedrock VANLLA (a guide to /camera)

In this video I go over the basics of the new camera command in Minecraft Bedrock edition, a few cool things you can do with it, and more. I encourage you to make your own camera creations and post them somewhere! This is a really cool and powerful command, and after watching this video, its power will be in your hands. you must also have this running at the same time to clear your camera

I TOTALLY forgot to mention, when you use the fnaf camera command blocks you must also have a constantly running command block with /execute unless entity @a[hasitem={location=slot.weapon.mainhand,item=book}] run camera @a clear so that your camera clears when you unequip a book

I have a question! Do you think there is a way to activate the cameras individually without having to scroll through them? Like you could drop the book and then have a command that takes you to the camera? And then another command that allows you to come back to the office?

I think to make the automatic rotating camera, you could use a rotating armor stand using the TP command (the tildas after the coordinate ones change how the armor stand may rotate, just use the execute command to tp the armorstand to itself, and then use ~0.1 or ~1 to make it spin however you want) And I believe negative values spin it the other way. If you make the cam use the position of the armor stand instead of the player, it SHOULD work, though this is theoretical, Ive never properly tested this

Hey for the rotating cameras I found out you can just make it repeat 2 camera commands that look at two different coordinates then using the linier ease effect to smoothly go between the 2. My design is a bit bulky though; I used repeaters to make the delay.

This is a really good idea! My only issue with this is if your camera isn’t already there, it needs to slide away from the player to get there. If you had a command to get your camera there first, it might work though

1 tick in Minecraft is 0.05 seconds. This means 20 ticks in 1 second. If you want to skip for 5 seconds, set it to 100 ticks.

For me, it was a lot of trial and error before it just came naturally. It's constantly changing based off of what position your camera is coming from, if I remember. Just copy and paste your command and change the rotation until it is what you are looking for!

Sorry for being late to this. Have a repeating command block that turns on when you’d like to use the cameras with the command /@a[hasitem={location=slot.weapon.mainhand,item=book}] run camera @a clear It is a really simple workaround for single player, for multiplayer you need to use @p on every command block and can only use the books in one area. Hope this helps!
