The brilliance about your way, compared with others - if one is using two colors - is that the fused end doesn't have to be hidden RIGHT AT the buckle and still have both ends have solid colors that align on both ends.

I used this double cow hitch with four core on a Ladder Rack / Trilobite bracelet and to finish, I wrapped each cord nicely at when I came back down to the end, and wove each strand into the spine. CAME OUT GREAT. There is nothing on a beefy, masculine bracelet than a DOUBLE COW'S HITCH ON BOTH ENDS!

Which weave would you recommend is both flat and packs together the most cordage in overall length? I’m asking for a paracord belt project I’d like to start. I want to make something flat to wear around my waist that breaks down into at least 200 feet of cordage for survival uses.
@cdnhacker1906
@cdnhacker1906 Жыл бұрын
The most cordage I could find was to make a water bottle holder, I mean a larger bottle, gonna need water for survival. I'm on the same page, something useful instead of it just keeping my cordage in the bottom of my bag. This channel has some other projects like that.

@TheWeaversofEternity
@TheWeaversofEternity 8 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to when you're making a knot and loop bracelet? It's tricky because you're measuring part of the loop and part of the knot because when they close, it'll overlap. It's hard to explain in comments here.

@TheWeaversofEternity
@TheWeaversofEternity 7 жыл бұрын
The cobra knot usually uses about 1 foot of paracord per inch of bracelet, but it's not super exact. But if you're doing the cobra on a 4 strand core, it may use more. I'd suggest just using some scraps to determine how much paracord you're using per inch of bracelet, then incorporate the amount needed for the core with the buckles.
