Oh there's so many ways to fit everything your sims need in a small houseboat lot. Like, there could be a garden on the roof, ether with supernatural pots, or into the future green carpets, or potted plants can be scattered around the house.

I always get happy when you upload :) I always used to get so upset that these houseboats weren't real, but at the same time didn't know at the time that houseboats could be placed anywhere, this is definitely something I need to try :) I'm glad you included a dig at the sims 4 at 02:38 😂a sims video wouldn't be complete without one especially not yours haha

The port lot type requires Isla Paradiso and is not in the base game lot types. So this does require IP installed.

I was confused at first, but I think Rekowcski was meaning you don't have to build/use the ports in the actual world of Isla Paradiso (not the EP as a whole, or Island Paradise) to have them in other Sims 3 worlds as well.

The pack is called Island Paradise, the world is called Isla Paradiso so he meant you don't need to be using the world not the expansion pack.

I have done this in all 3 World Adventure worlds plus Sunset Valley before. Houseboats out of Isla Paradiso are the best thing ever. I also added a few Diving Spots in some of the WA worlds.

it must be houseboat season bc i literally just did this in my sunset valley save so i could give the landgraabs a stupid rich person boat. wish i knew the square actually had to be on the lot fully before i made it, i couldn't get it to place and just got mad and turned moveobjects on. ...maybe that's why the save isn't loading now lmao

Does the whole houseboat square need to fit inside the lot perimeter or only thr actual dock? Like can the white square be technicslly outside of the lot since well the houseboat can be moved anywhere. Or maybe not this works?

the square HAS to be in the lot too... I used a 50x25 which is tricky, I would recommend using a 50x50 or 64x64 so you definitely have room for the boat, dock and stairs

You would need to edit the world in "create a world" I think
