They've updated the 3D window recently and I can't get past the step "set surface to defuse shading". Expand Wireframes is now a quick action option and if I try to use a mask on Materials > Graphics it doesn't have many options besides Scale/Rotate. Can't find "Map Art" anywhere around neither the "Scale to fit" option with my symbol. Any tips? Thank you in advance.

Nevermind, just found the option "3D Classic" on the Effect tab which opens the old 3D menu with the tools used on your video. Going to leave this here in case anyone has the same issue as I did.

Why do you need to delete those lines on the grid before adding it as a symbol?

to avoid double lines when applied to 3d effects

When i add symbol it doesn't show on 3D circle I check preview, but still symbol not applied on 3D circle ????

I'm doing this step by step and it works BUT the some of the lines on my wire frame are thicker and when I rotate the sphere random lines changes thickness, really buggy and inaccurate, typical adobe! I just want my lines to stay consistent and perfect , how do I get around this?
