Chewy Oatmeal Cookie Recipe, dairy free, gluten free, refined sugar free. Oats recipes for weight loss, Healthy and tasty oatmeal cookies are a perfect healthy snack in your weight loss meals. Super easy to make and loaded with fibre, healthy fats, and omega 3s.
TIPS:
Baking time varies with oven, if after 15 mins the cookies are not baked well, bake for another 7 mins.
The cookies when baked will be slightly soft in the middle but will turn crisp/hard once it has cooled down.
Use gluten free oats flour and rolled oats.
These cookies are soft and chewy and not crisp.
I like both the flavours of vanilla and cinnamon in the cookies, however you can omit cinnamon if you prefer.

@@marianchiu262 They are in between I would say. Baking the oats makes them crunchy whereas the rest of it adds to the softness. So neither super crunchy nor super soft.

I prepared this cookies yesterday in three batches. First batch I baked for 15 minutes. But the cookies were soft. So 2nd and 3rd batch I baked for 25 minutes. It became crispy but soft from inside. Subsequently it turned soft after some time. I have used jaggery insted of sugar and desicated Coconut instead of fresh coconut. Can u suggest me how to make it crispy. I love all ur recipes since I love trying healthy recipes. A great fan of urs.

Pre heated the cooker with sand at the base for 10 min. Placed a stand on it and kept a greased plate with the cookies . Kept on low flame for 15 min.After 15 min Checked every 2 minutes and removed when done.. Here it took longer than 15 min. Happy baking.

This recipe looks wonderful. I'm going to use 70% dark choc. or carob chips instead of reg. choc chips. May I just say, "your cookies are not refined sugar free, as choc. chips have 8g of sugar in a Tbl.."

I tried them today , taste is too good , just one question , my cookies are too soft even after cooling off , any tips , can adding extra coconut cause it ??

I am a regular viewer of your videos. First of all thanking you for all the videos you uploaded. In this recipe, can we omit coconut powder as it gives an extra fat to body. Instead if we add something else particularly fat free ingredient then it would be completely fat free Cookies right? I would like to know your view on it. Please don't consider this as negative comment.

Recent studies says you need to consume healthy fats (not refined oils) so healthy fats in the form of coconut, peanuts, almonds etc are highly beneficial to your body. Do not go after fat free, use healthy fats! do check my videos on ghee and coconut oil to understand more. You can use 1/4 cup peanut butter instead of coconut but remember that coconut is also one of the best natural fats nature has given us. It also has lauric acid which is only found in human breast milk. Eat wisely and sustainably. Hope this helps.

Can we give flax seeds to kids in summers ?? M from delhi in case u r wondering.. and also please suggest how to mk rolled oats cz i hv been using instant one hv no idea about the difference i simply boil oats with water add jaggery pwdr n garnish it with nuts seeds n fruits .. can this b made in the same way???

it was too good.. we added some more pink salt and whisked the wet ingredients for 2 mins after combined. absolutely loved it

Thank you so much Nisa for this simple and wonderful recipe. I loved the taste and flavor of the cookies. Brilliantly healthy and easy to make cookies. I have made multiple different types of oat cookies before but I personally love this version the best. Do we need to store these in the refrigerator since there is fresh coconut in it?
