How to Make Hand Drill Lathe | DIY The Simplest Wood Lathe

Today I will make a wood lathe in the simplest way possible. A very cheap, simple and functional project, which will help me a lot in some of my future jobs.
All you need is one board, a couple of short slats, a threaded rod, a few nuts and bolts, some paint and of course a drill. As well as some little things, which you will see in the video. The tools I used to make this lathe are the simplest that most have in their workshop.
Of course, this is not professional work at the highest level, for me this is not an everyday job. This is my hobby, relaxing after hard work. I really tried to give the best I could. I hope you like it, and that you enjoy the video. I would be really glad if this video would help someone.

That is very ingenious sir. I was a metal machinist for 35 years before i retired, and always loved my job. I did some wood working in high school and made several projects. You lathe could be any length that you want to make it. Always love seeing what you come up with next!!!👍🎥Roger
