Thanks for the tutorial. I ended up doing a few things a bit differently. largely because I was using Gimp and partly because the texture size I need is 32x32. Even after shrinking the texture the grass still turned out much nicer than the bland pattern I had before.

I have to say I was skeptical with the first few blades, but the end result looks great! Nice to know that you can make some great looking textures without a lot of actual hand painting.

Can you create tutorial how to do stylized grass but something like what they do at LoL or Albion online. Less detailed but still great looking grass, if you get what I mean? I tried to pull it off but I just can't seem to get a hang of it, I can do what you do here at this tutorial. But when I try to do LoL type grass I just keep failing at it.

You are leaving out some important steps. 1:25 you don't mention which color because that is the part where im struggling the most. And I can't understand which brush because my lines are looking really bad. Ah and just now I realized you are using pin light for the brush. But the end result looks really good.

Awesome tutorial. My only recommendation would be to cut some of the boomyness from your voice recording. Perhaps turn down the gain level on your mic, or do a little EQ to cut some of the low frequencies

Thanks a lot for the great tutorial. I am somewhat confused though. From what I can see, I believe I've followed your tutorial every step of the way, yet my texture is not seamless. I'm sure it's just a small mistake, but i do not understand what I did wrong.

I'm glad to hear you liked the tutorial and that you fixed your seam issue! :) If it ever happen again, try to crop the whole canvas before using offset. Sometimes some parts are sticking out of the canvas and are causing issues.

It looks easy, but you need some fundamental PS knowledge. I lost tracking at 1:02 minute and my leaves look pretty bad.

let me know if you have any questions about the process :) at 1:02 minute, if you don't have a drawing tablet, its going to be hard to replicate those steps you can also simplify these steps by using the gradient tool (g).
