I’m sooo glad you made this video for us handbuilders. I tried one and it cracked. By the time I got it made the clay had set up too much! I love the wallpaper!!! My husband scored me a huge book of textured wall paper that’s paintable and I have used them for years! No one else will have those textures!!

Wow, what a score! I try to build with the wettest clay possible, but it can be tricky, especially in the heat!

Thank you for this "how to" video, perfect timing, just made my first straw tumbler but the bends creased, now I think I know how to fix that after watching your video. Thanks again!

Oh good! I think for me the key is working with it while the clay is still pretty wet. Hope it work out for you, I can wait to get these fired and glazed. 😊

Hi, Sarah! Love your tutorial. So far, I have thrown my sippers, but recently, I thought I might like to handbuild them using a jumbo pool noodle. That's one of my next tuts. I like your tapered effect. Most of all, I like your texture and sprigs! Very nice! Good luck transporting them home! 🙏

Thanks! I’ve been thinking about trying out some sort of support for the inside but never get around to it! Yes, I need all the luck getting all my pieces home as greenware. I managed to get everything home safely last time so I’m hoping for the same this time. 😊

@@PerrinPottery Ya, a support is so helpful, heh? If I think of anything for a tapered sippy that accommodates the shrinkage, I will let you know. Happy Vacation!
