Don't think you're getting enough credit for this. You made a portable self-powered 3,5 inch drive. That is way cool! Don't know how long the battery will last but imagine toting a portable 14TB drive around with you. Nice Could be adapted to a high capacity powerbank too?

You can use one bms for battery, a buck boost converter to get proper 12 volt supply...that will be better for you.
