This perfectly encapsulates what it's like to hang with the guys and fumble our way through a project.

Emmit is getting lit in the background! LOL Eyes slowly closing sometimes..... Lovin it!! And I think I'll try my 2 month double fermented Hard Cider today, which is still bubbling. Good day today.

Emmit is giving me Phil from The Tom Green show vibes where he’d just be in the back of the shot looking through the window, drinking coffee and with a little bit of laughterthe whole time.

Inspired me to make an even more simpler version with syrup. For 10 liters with 5% ABV (non-freedom units ;-) ): - 1,2 litres of wodka - 7,3 litres of water - 1,5 litres of syrup (the ones for 1:6 ratio drinks). I used a natural one without added sugars - 30ml of Angustura bitters - some limes (around 5 to 10) Force carb and ready to go in under an hour 😊

I got around 5% pineapple, 82% water, and 13% alcohol (42%). Maybe someone can double check my math.

Really glad I found this because I just decided today that I want to make a seltzer for the party I’m going to memorial weekend. I was thinking store bought pineapple, 2 fifths of coconut rum, top off with water and carbonate. Thanks guys!! (It’s too late to brew a beer)

the rum brand im thinking of is a little light on ABV so,,, everclear will be "at the ready"...

Wondering if you could do this also with grapefruit juice to make a grapefruit high noon seltzer.

I’m going to drink my tepache today. I back-sweeten with a can of pineapple concentrate and a pinch of salt.

Thanks! Any idea if the water profile matters when diluting spirits? Maybe removing the chlorine is the most important?

Amount of juice in 3 pineapples could vary greatly based on size and ripeness. Any general guess as to the amount you guys settled on? Was it 1.3L of Juice + Pulp in the end?

Also, can you please advise on carbonation/serving pressure? Seltzers tend to be much higher than ales and lagers, ya?

Could you guys not use a plaster mixer on a drill to mix it up all good before carbonation?

Is there a recipe for this? I heard 15L total Volume, 1.5L of 42% Vodka. Not sure about the water and #'s of Pineapple
@goateemike725 ай бұрын
new idea.. no ferment. 1/2 gallon of titos with a bag of worthers dissolved in it. 1 gallon of apple juice. (or an apple schnapps) then enough water to get it around 5%. carbonate and you have a carmel apple seltzer. can you guys do that so i know if its worth trying? fall will be here before you know it

Will making a seltzer leave any off-flavors in the keg/orings? I was reading a couple of forums and some people use a separate keg for their seltzer/cocktails. Thanks in advance!
