In this hot summer season a drink prepared in this way with be quite soothing and refreshing. So try making this quick mango juice and beat the heat while continuing to enjoy the gifts of nature. 👉 👉 EDIT: Many have asked in the comments "Why did you add ginger?," so here's a brief note answering the question.
Adding ginger to mango juice offers several potential benefits:
Digestive Aid: Both mango and ginger have properties that can aid digestion. Mango contains enzymes that help break down proteins, while ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe the stomach
Immunity Boost: Gingerol, a compound in ginger, may help bolster the immune system and potentially offer protection against some infections. Mango is also rich in vitamin C, another essential nutrient for immune function.
Flavorful Twist: Ginger adds a spicy kick to the sweetness of mango, creating a more complex and interesting flavor profile in your juice.
While experimenting for the recipe, we found that ginger enhanced the taste. So out primary intention was to add a unique flavor to the drink. But later, we recognized that Ginger brought some additional health benefits to the recipe.
👉 👉 EDIT 2: Many were wondering why we added lemon to mango juice, here's our take on it.
As in the case with Ginger mentioned earlier, this is what lemon contributes toward making a refreshing, balanced and healthier drink:
Flavor: Lemon juice adds a tart, citrusy kick to the sweetness of mango, creating a more complex and interesting flavor profile.
Acidity: A touch of lemon juice helps balance the sweetness of ripe mangoes, making the drink less cloying.
Vitamin C boost: Lemons are packed with Vitamin C, which can give your immune system a little boost.
Thinning the juice: A small amount of lemon juice (along with water) helps in thinning out the thicker consistency of pure mango puree, creating a smoother, more drinkable juice.
However, it's important to note that the amount of lemon juice added is usually quite small and shouldn't overpower the natural sweetness of the mango.

🔶Ingredients
Mango 3 (around 300g
Sugar (1+1)Tbsp
Ginger 10g
Lemon half
Water 3cup
Salt 1pich
Ice 9 to 12 cubes
🔶Method
👉Peel Skin of Mango
👉Cut it into pieces and discard it's seed
👉Cut the Ginger into fine pieces
👉Add the Mango and Ginger in a mixie/blender
👉Add 2Tbsp Sugar, a pinch of salt and blend them into a fine paste
👉Check the Mango paste, add 3Tbsp cold water, give a few stirs with a spoon and check for its sweetness.
👉Depending on the Mango's sweetness and the degree of sweetness you prefer, add sugar and blend it in the mixie for one more time.(If you wish you can add some crushed ice during the final blending)
👉Drop 3 or 4 cubes of ice and serve the juice. But before serving remember to squeeze in the juice of half a lemon to add another dimension of flavour and nutrition.
