Thank you for this video. I made these for a cookie exchange and they were a huge hit! They are labor intensive but your caramel coconut technique was much easier and cleaner than trying to pipe 30+ rings of caramel onto each cookie, as other recipes suggest! Also, for folks who wanna save time, I found that baking the shortbread 15 mins at 350 worked great. 😊

Hi there! I used Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers because it behaves like tempered chocolate. I always recommend dark or semi-sweet chocolate because it balances sweetness in a dessert better than milk chocolate.

@@yasminehayles692 I was so nervous the first time I made caramel, but it’s so worth it! 🤗 I also have an updated way of starting the caramel in my Salted Caramel/Cookie Butter Salted Caramel video that should be easier & a little less intimidating, so I definitely recommend checking that out! 😊👍🏼
