My second try at this worked! Thank you for your openness about oiling both faces of the puri. I think I overdid the oil a bit. When I peeled them apart, they were quite wet, a bit greasy, but it dried off as the wraps stood. Maybe I didn't have the pan hot enough. But they worked, thanks to you.

Yet another super-duper tutorial. I know you had to edit in the interest of brevity, but I would have been happy to watch the whole process! For me it would have been better than a movie! Because you were so detailed I want to take the risk and try (with much trepidation) a 1/4 recipe of this tomorrow. I don't think I am going to do any trimming. I might try to make some triangles with the semi-circles and wrap some 'rolls' (like burritos) with the whole circles. I have some potato filling and if I run out I will make some cabbage, onion and carrot filling. Growing up I never learned to cook at home, but now, however belatedly, I want to try my hand at making the things I like to eat! Your demonstrations inspire confidence, which is what I really need! Peace and God Bless!

Vow so thin n nice . I m learning to make them. But I still don’t know how much I should roll . I feel that they are pretty thin n while roasting n taking out the sheets I feel them they are little thick . . Can u please share me the trick of making them thin . Thanks happy cooking !!
@Raihanascuisines4 жыл бұрын
These are perfected with practice, the mire you make it the more yiu will know how thin or thick the puris have to be, also if they are too think then they do soak up too much oil I like to keep them a little thick, this way they stay crispy for a couple days. Hope this helps!

so no oil added as "mon" to make the dough, I will try this, I just wanted to let you know I usually use Trader Joe's Flour tortilla and cut into four half meaning cut in the middle and it will be a quarter circle and that stick the round side with each other (Overlaping and make a cone and stuff and pack and seal the top so there is no waste at all.
