How to Make Hookah | Proper Way to Pack a Phunnel Bowl | Perfect Smoking Shisha | Tutorial

In today’s video we are showing you how to properly pack a funnel style hookah bowl.
There are many technics on how to pack it but this is the most common one. It will make make hookah last longer, along with best taste transfer and lots of smoking clouds.
Funnel style bowl is the easiest bowl to pack, that’s why a lot of people using that style now days.
Good point that you don’t have to dry the tobacco and you can start packing your bowl right from shisha pack. One thing you need to do, is to make tobacco more fluffy that way you’ll get good airflow. Don’t over pack it, because if you put a lot of tobacco, all of that is going to stick to the heat management unit and it’ll be hard to inhale it. You have to have good airflow. You can pack it with sections or layers.
Make sure to let this bowl time to heat up equally, give it 5-7 mins. After 5 minutes of heating your hookah bowl is ready. Remove extra charcoal and put lid on top of it if needed. Good to go!

Cousins, help. So I got an alien bowl from HJ and I believe I got a smaller one which is fine since I'm the habitual smoker. But I have been try to find the sweet spot for a while now. I was so used to the starter deep clay bowl, but this phunnel is a challenge. Any advice?

I need help, I am new to hookah. I bought a shitty plastic 2 hose vase style. Upgraded to what I thought was a quality hookah, the Cocoyaya Prince series mario. It has phunnel bowl and leather hose, I either get too much burn, or not enough smoke. Did I buy a pos?

I use the same HMS and very similar bowl, but I cannot imagine doing this (will try) without my tobacco burning and not tasting good. I use True Passion/Al Fakher/Zomo/… so nothing super expensive, but Id say good enough, how comes? Thanks!

Those tobaccos better to pack on regular bowl. It usually burns if its over packed and bowl wasn't preheated. Also you can try to put less tobacco and use 1 charcoal inside of hmd and 2 or one on top of the side. Thanks

Zomo & Al Fakher are harsh from the start. I feel like this type of bowl/packing is better with a gold leaf tobacco like Azure Gold Line, or Starbuzz. If it's burning and tastes bad, don't let it touch the HMD.

Could you maybe explain, I do everything same, but my tobbaco burns and sticks to hotbox, I'm using silicone/glass bowl and hotbox same as you do, sometimes when it gets hot when I put my lotus, like lid on top of hotbox I can't take it off, maybe because of heat, thank you tho, great video, keep it up :D

Throw the bowl out. It’s caused by micro fractures in the glaze of the bowl. Oblako bowls are heavily overrated. Oblako glazed bowls are also very prone to micro fractures due to the low quality glaze used.

Well that's the common problem with oblako bowl. there is nothing you can't do to stop juice leak. you have to get a new one. But for the future don't wash the bowl right away after smoking session. let the bowl to cool down first and wash it with room temp. water. That way it can last longer at least.

Do you guys rearrange the tobacco during smoking session? I feel i need to do this because the top layer gets burnt and loses its flavour, and the bottom layer still has flavour and is not burnt.

Usually you don't need because the bottom layer will burn and its color doesn't necessarily have to go or you can remove the coal and then take the head and shake it a little

i love this method, at least at first, but i have two questions: 1. after a while it seems to be burnt but it's just the shisha on the bottom of the heat management device, not the whole thing. How do you prevent that? 2. How do you clean it afterwards when all the shisha is stuck on the HMD? I've been using steel wool but it still doesn't all come off 🤔

Thank you. You can try to burn the top layer when you just put HMD on top of the bowl to prevent it from sticking it. But usually it gets stick to it. Any tips on how to get more taste out of a tobacco? I got this one tobacco that I like, it doesn''t taste bad, and I am packing shisha very light like this in an oblako phunnel with a lotus+ hmd.
