Milk - 1 cup
Tea powder - 3tsp
Cardamom - 5 (Crushed)
Ginger - Small piece (Grated)
Sugar - 3 tsp

Hello Skyvedha, you were trying to show the best Irani chai, I am an old Hyderabadi, and I have seen how they used make this tea, it's actually used be called chalti chai made by the Iranians, in these cafes. Morning 5am they keep the chai ingredients on a coal stove and it kept on boiling till late evening, they used add water, sugar, tea leaves as the decoction reduced and on a separate stove used to boil milk and keep it ready, to mix as and when necessary. This is let you know the famous "chalti chai" made by the Iranians in Hyderabad which later on became Iranian chai. Another famous one is "cutting chai with bun" that means half cup tea with a small bun. This used to be a poor man's breakfast those days, especially the rickshaw pullers. What people don't understand is that the longer the tea is boiled, the better and "creamier" it tastes. That is why 5 whistles in a pressure cooker. Normally in hotels, the tea would be boiled for many hours. This is simply a faster way to do it in the house. Good job!
