Thank you I made by adding 1 gm IBA is alcohol and 1000ml distil water. Which should be 1000 ppm I suppose. I am thinking of making a gel with anti fungal and anti bacterial ingredients. I am trying to target a situation where the cutting is disinfected as well have a rooting hormone. + in Gel form. Can you advice

I dissolved in 99% iso and it worked but when I added distilled water to final volume it formed a white cloud of powder, like separation. Why did that happen or what do I need to do to prevent that?

I purchased some but clueless how to use it. Is the one I purchased used the same way as yours in the video? The one I purchased says water soluble, I added about 1 g to gallon of water and tomato, chili pepper cuttings look terrible and burnt leaves. Used in aero cloner. Any advice?

TekkHakk Dear pls see the reference ppm valur for your species. I think you had used high concentration of IBA.. generally for soft wood cutting low IBA conc (500 -1000 ppm) is enough...but before applying pls review the literatures.

No autoclave, is it a must to sterilize the final step? if so any other method other then Autoclave?

Autoclaving in must when you are going to store it for longer duration.. otherwise for one week it will be ok if u used Distilled water and store in in cool.

If I dissolve 1gm. IBA into 200 as per your method then what will the ppm

If you dissolve 1 gm in 100 ml solvent then it become 10000 ppm, same if you make it 200 ml then it become 5000 ppm, further if you make solution volume 1000 ml then strength become 1000 ppm. thanks
