What gauge is the wire and is it hard enough to hold it shape? You seem to be working with it with your hands so it must be very soft. Thank you.

Joyce, its 12 guage aluminum wire which is very soft and easy to work with. It can be hammered to strengthen it, however, the colors may distort, so I usually only hammer the silver color. No, I don’t, most times i work harden it to help it keep the shape. I very rarely have something to break. What are the circumstances where you get breakage?
