Oh my God. I must comment. I am a guy. This Christmas I promise my family that I'd cook then party jollof rice when I visit for Xmas. I downloaded your video today, watch it, got all the ingredient and followed you. During the process of cooking I didn't quite perceive so much aroma. I guess that happens always with the cook. Anyway, the food came out superb. Exactly party jollof rice. And the type you find in a tush party from a great cook. This was my first time making this. And it came out excellently well. I used this method for my new year jollof and it was the best I have ever made. My friends couldn't get enough of it (One even said I got a caterer...lol). I was soooooo proud of myself I even took pictures and sent to my sister to make her salivate. Thank you sooooooooooooo much.

I did the toasting of the washed rice.. Seeeeeeeeeeee.. It makes a lot of difference. Next time. I'd find celery and go the whole nine yards. Thank you!

Hello Dami. I live in Jos and we've got a lot of veggies n spices here. Like Celery, Parsley, Leek onions n a whole lot. For as low as N100 a bunch. I buy them during the season n microwave it for few minutes to have them in powdered form so I can always use them if I can't get the fresh ones from the market.
