I built the same, it is wonderfully engineered and designed..... however with no slipper clutch or spring the transfer case gears get stripped very easily...I am trying PETG gears as a last resort as pla+ ones don't last long if you drive it normally

When installing the gears, fix them with quick glue and apply gress oil. It will last longer.

I appreciate your effort, and i love 3d printing, but the durability of 3d printing is not yet up to the task of building an RC vehicle that will withstand the forces involved in "fun" driving. 3D printing has always been a big hobby of mine but I’ve been losing the interest in it because cool projects are honestly hard to come by in my opinion. At least, they were until I found all the RC projects! I have a hard time sitting still and being patient enough to do a project right without rushing. These RC projects give me the opportunity to enjoy 3D printing again while learning to take my time on projects and make something cool and work with my hands! I just finished a large scale (1400mm wingspan) P-51D Mustang RC airplane from 3D Lab Print. It has functional landing gear and flaps, along with all the normal controls and functional aircraft lights. Now I’m working on a 4x4 RC LAND Rover rock crawler by 3DSets. I am definitely adding this truck to the list!!
