I found a great hint to skin the hazelnuts (As the skin sometimes taste bitter) roast them for about 10/15 minutes lay them in a tea towel and rub together. When you open the towel, the skin just magically falls off the hazelnuts and you have the best tasting hazelnuts ever!

These look beautiful. I'm a home tutor and we'll definitely be making these in our next cookery class(we did a little adaption of your bread last time, which I absolutely love by the way) and I think my mum will be getting a nice big box of these for her birthday! She's diabetic and she loves ferrero rocher(basically anything sweet actually) and she's struggling to behave herself sugar wise. This might be just what she needs!

I'd like toasted coconut or any toasted nuts but my husband wouldn't want anything but the chocolate. My go to coffee substitute is i make herbal coffee with roasted dandelion root and roasted chicory root. Makes a very good coffee substitute. The amounts you use are to your own taste. I use 1 tsp each in a pint of hot water, brew for 7-8 minutes. I prefer mine with a dropper of liquid stevia, and occasionally coconut milk. These herbs are good for liver function and digestion too.

Hi Fan. Been a sub for a while now, first time commenting. I've watched all your video's over and over and many times they'll run on autoplay during the night. I love your recipes and have tried many...shephard's pie, crusty bread (my favorite as all the keto bread have been too eggy and what better way to get rid of the egg taste than to use a vegan recipie). I also made your soy milk and used the okara to make a stir fry dish that my mom used to make when she was still alive, with carrots, green, beans and shitake mushrooms. I hadn't had it for probably 40 years. It sure did bring back memories and now I make it all the time. You really inspire me to cook and stay on keto. I have stage 3 lung cancer and have been keto since my diagnosis over a year and a half ago . I do come off it every now and then to get my carbs so I can stay on keto. I'm not that disciplined. I'm not vegan, but I have no problem not eating meat. Being Asian myself, your shiratake ramen was a favorite, lol. I miss my noodles so much! Thank you for all your recipes and inspiration. BTW, I absolutely love your dishes. Who makes them?

Thank you so much! It makes my day to know you enjoy the recipes. Just to let you know that there's another shirataki noodle recipe coming soon I think you'll love (it's sooo good). Thank you Fan! You are adorable and this is another fabulous recipe! I wanted to share my new tool with you (in the States the Inspiralizer or Veggetti) is a spiral cutter that cuts vegetables into noodles and it has allowed me to make a lot of new things that are like bowls of pasta and even rice using zucchini, squash, cabbage and broccoli stems! I have been thinking of you every time I make a new recipe with it because I think you would love it.💗🌸🎀Best wishes!

would putting the truffle mixture above a bowl of ice, while you're rolling them, be a better alternative to popping them in the fridge when they start to soften, sort of like a reverse double boiler?

Just made a batch. So good! I did have some oil that didn’t mix in. I drained it off. Not sure if it’s oil from the chocolate or coconut oil. It just separated? But I have a delicious flavor.

The oil may separate a bit when it's still warm. But once it's set firm enough you can simply give it a mix then everything blends in. Glad to know you enjoy it. x

They look so yummy!!! I am allergic to coconut oil.. is there a substitue I can use? Thanks
@bluebutterflywellness22734 жыл бұрын
Idk if you're allergic to nuts as well, but Ive been doing a form of this by mixing natural peanut butter, plant oil (avocado or refined olive oil) and cocoa powder. It may not be the exact consistency as Fan's but I still enjoy it. You can also melt the chocolate bar with a flavorless plant oil and add a little cocoa powder to slightly thicken & compensate for the hardening of the coconut oil. I make several raw chocolate desserts with this formula. Good luck!
@ladybird7544 жыл бұрын
