Hey Amy I think you're a strong amazing woman and admire you so much I'm a mom of 4 boys and when I feel down I watch you and I feel so much better. Thank you
@reneegentry43912 жыл бұрын
I've made this it's amazing. I used bowtie pasta. The one thing I recommend is to put the cooked bowties in a separate bowl. Put a little of the soup sauce over it to hydrate the noodles and set them aside. If you put all the noodles in the soup they absorb up all the soup and get HUGE! Its good on the 2nd day but no longer soup with monster size bowties!
@lilabeatty15892 жыл бұрын
I agree. I cook the pasta separate .it's easier for leftovers. If not the noodles get to soft. Cooking the pasta separate this recipe is still amazing. The longer the sauce cooks the better it becomes.

Hi Amy! I bought all my ingredients and will be making this next week and can't wait to try it, thanx for sharing. My mini food processor is a life saver when it comes to chopping my onions, you may want to get one, that way you don't have to deal with your eyes watering. Btw, I have been watching LPBW since day one and absolutely love the show and feel like you all are family, it's refreshing being able to actually watch a clean family show, and even though I cried when you and Matt divorced, I must say you have been glowing since you met Chris and your wedding was beautiful and I cried again because I am so happy for you and I really felt like I was a guest at your wedding, ty for sharing and I wish you and Chris nothing but happiness. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog.

My mini-chopper saves me on everything! A five minute chop turns into a five second one. At least put a matchstick in-between your teeth when chopping your onion-unlit of course!

I have always thought of you as such a good cook, especially with all the great meals you've made all these years on TV. Now that I've stumbled onto your channel, I'll be watching. Tidbit that works I learned, if you put salt in a tiny bowl by your onion while you chop it up your eyes don't get irritated.

I made this for dinner tonight and it was a hit! I used the lasagna noodles and I really like the thickness as compared to the bow ties. It was nice to make something a little different for a change. I used 1 lb of ground chuck and and 1/2 pound of breakfast sausage instead of Italian and It was delish!

lasagna soup is the best !!! i love it , mine is a lil diff than yours , but a trick i learned to cut onion is .... onion will go to first source of water, being your eyes , so what i learned is to take 2 or 3 paper towels , get them pretty wet , an lay them in a small pile on ur cutting board , the onion odor will go to ur towels and not your eyes .... hope that helps , give it a try it does work ..... great video ty for sharing your recipe with us Amy!!

So I just stumbled apon this channel and of course I know you from your reality TV show small ppl big world or something in that direction, and I really wanted to congratulate you !! Seriously, I loved your show because it felt so heartwarming and family oriented, everytime I watched one of your guys episodes it left me with a heartfelt feeling and definitely wanting to see more, it was so different then the drama based reality TV shows, this was based around family and the dramas that acure All the time in real family's, it was very relatable ! It felt so genuine.. I was sad to hear that you and your x husband were getting a divorce, as I know all America was and of course you and your family , the very ones who it impacted and hit the most ! I did want to say how happy I am for you ! You have found a happy marriage, doing a cooking channel and I know you have got to be doing alot more ! I hope I didn't get to personal, I just really wanted to say you go girl ! And you have lots of supporters even if u don't know them !!

I love this , thank you so much for sharing your recipes , I'm always looking for new recipes that are delicious, homey and balanced, but not a huge prep work , or alot of pricey ingredients, something my growing 4 year old son is going to eat , and he loves his veggies. , he is just not a big meat eater , he likes Hotdogs, corndogs , nuggets and hamburger, other then that it's very hard to get him to eat meat , so I do look forward to trying out your recipes and I know my husband will be thanking you 😉!

Hi Amy, a tip for cutting onion without tears, when you are peeling it, then cutting into it, only go as far as the root. Don’t cut the root off. So cut into the onion then dice leaving all the end onion on the root. I love your recipes, thank you💖
@mircat282 жыл бұрын
Everybody and their brother think they have the no onion tears secret. So far I've run into 5. Not one of them works as claimed. Those secrets may work for someone but they definitely don't work for everyone.

@@mircat28 Actually I found one that works for real, put salt into a small bowl next to the onion you chop and no eye irritation.
