Love this -i've used a similar recipe (no honeyquat and different oil) and haven't bought conditioner for about a year!

It is the btms that really makes it such a lovely conditioner isn't it. I have been using mine in place of my regular conditioner ever since we made this video and my hair has never felt so soft and silky!

My daughter has hair down to her bottom so I'll see if she will try this out. You never know she MIGHT let me take a picture. Thank you

Sounds like you have a daughter like mine who isn't keen on having her picture taken! Let us know how you get on if you do try it out :-)

@@TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany I love trying things out so I'll make it even if it's just for me and my short dry hair. She's just much easier on the eye than me 😁

I want to substitute the honeyquat for glycerin. That’s what I have on hand and I have all other ingredients. Do I add the glycerin in the cool down phase or do I add it at the water phase?? Thanks in advance

This looks great, although being a vegan, is there a good alternative for the honeyquat?

Hi Dora, you could use glycerin instead. It imparts similar qualities though isn't quite as potent as the honeyquat. You would also need to substitute the silk proteins for something else, perhaps a rice protein or similar.
