How to make Leather Potion Bottle Holders.

Leather tutorial and patterns for Potion Bottle Holders. Renaissance potion bottle holder patterns.
Don't get stuck without your Health or Mana potions when going to the Ren fair! This is a fun and easy project! Two versions, sewn or riveted. There's also two different patterns for each so that it will work with anything from 4oz to 6oz leather. This pattern uses 1/2" buckles.

My son in law needed some colored filled bottles like this for his ren fest outfit, but kept getting frustrated with the color separating and settling. We finally came up with letting jolly rancher hard candies disolve in vodka. He's been using them for years, and they still haven't separated. 😊

What weight leather do you reccomend for this project?

The pattern has four different set ups. One for stitching or one for rivets. And each of those has a pattern for 4/5oz or 5/6oz. I prefer to go with 4oz. If the leather you're using is a 5oz you're better off using the pattern set up for 4/5. I hope that helps? Tony Allen Bernier www.tonyallenbernier.com

Hi Todd, unfortunately not at the moment. Trying to get my neck and back healed up. Being hunched over for too long aggravates my herniated discs. I'm hoping to get some done in the next few months.
