How to make LEDs work with a 3 channel radio.

I just realized it's momentary after using it for my TRX4. I'm not sure how true it is but I've heard that the transmitter will return to it's bound state anytime nothing is pressed. So if you bind it with that button pressed it should return that way every time you let go of the controls. For me that means I can make my car stay in one of two gears if it works and only choose that second gear when I'm holding the button down.

I’m wondering if one of these 3rd channel light controllers would work on say the element stock transmitter with a 3rd channel switch instead of a button.

Will this work in reverse? I have a receiver with a 2 wire recover output and the light kit is 3 wire?

No that baton will actually work as on and of switch. but you have to program it in the channel 3 setting it really works on that Spectrum DX3

On the dx3 you can program that as a on/off switch. I couldn't find anything on how to program the SLT radio. Did you have success getting that 3rd channel to work on the STL? If so, I would be very interested to learn how you did that.

How did you configure it for on / off switch? I think you are confused with a diff a remote, that’s the Spektrum Slt3 he’s using

I bought a yellow Beacon Light that has a harness that's supposed to connect to a channel 3 receiver but I just want to hook it up to a 9 volt battery to put it into a miniature model that I made so I guess my question is how do I eliminate the third signal wire to where I can just have the light powered constantly without a remote signal

The A/B switch in a lot of models operates things like rear steer, dig or 2 speed. Think of the A/B switch like left and right. There are some vehicles that the switch does nothing and you can use them for auxiliary functions like these lights.
