Hello Mr. Happen, that recipe is the best lemon cake I've ever had!!! My first homemade bundt cake & the first cake my husband has turned out on a cake plate!! We both were so excited and pleased. The outside was a little darker than I like, but the inside is hard to beat. I'll try again with a lower temperature & on top rack in oven, to see if it turns out golden.

Mr Happen, I cooked the cake again. It turned out more perfect and just as good. Lowered oven temp to 325 and placed on top rack (oven cooks fast for this cake) Make for husband's birthday & he loved it, plus everyone else. My daughter, friend, grandson & husband request it for Thanksgiving. Found a treasure!!!!

I'm old school 🤗!! I remember when a pound cake was made with a pound of everything! A pound of sugar, a pound of flour, 12 eggs, a pound of butter (4) sticks! Of course, tsp/tbs of the salt, baking powder and lemon flavor. Anybody remember? This was the way a pound cake was made before they introduced 7up pound cake. They're all good! 😋 Love that icing! Never made it with cream cheese. Gonna try it!

OMG I Just made this Lemon 🍋 pound cake and this is a winner 🏆. I have tried numerous recipes and the cake doesn't come out as moist as this one. Thank you chef for this recipe😍.
