How to make golden yellow lentil soup?
Ingredients List:
1 cup of lentils
1 onion
1 potato
1 carrot
1 heaped tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon of butter
1 bay leaf
Olive oil
Salt
1 scant coffee spoon of ground turmeric
7 glasses of hot water (glass measure:200 ml)
For the top sauce:
Butter or olive oil
Ground red pepper
Preparation:
We wash the lentils in cold water. We chop the onions. We turn on the stove and pour olive oil. We take the chopped onions in the pot and mix it. Then we finely chop the carrots. After frying the onion on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, add the carrot and bay leaf on it. We cut the potatoes again finely and put them in the pot. We take the washed and drained lentils into the pot and mix them together with the vegetables. We also add a tablespoon of butter. After mixing well, add the flour. After adding the flour, we cannot continue to fry too much because the flour will then stick to the pan. We add hot water on the ingredients. Add salt and turmeric. We leave it cooking. After our soup is cooked, we blend it with a blender machine and take it into the bowl. We fry red pepper with olive oil in a small pan and pour it over our soup. Enjoy your meal!
