It is not ideal to store food in aluminum pots, as the food can absorb the aluminum's taste, and acidic foods may react with the metal, which can be unhealthy. "Improve aluminum pots for cooking with these simple methods: Oiling the pot: Rub the pot with cooking oil and heat it. This creates a natural protective layer that reduces reactions between the food and the aluminum. Repeat this regularly. Carbon layer: After cooking, leave a thin layer of oil or fat in the pot. Over time, this builds up a barrier that protects the pot and the food. Avoid acidic foods: Do not cook very acidic dishes, like those with tomatoes or citrus, directly in the pot, as they can react with the aluminum. Do not store food in the pot: Once the food is cooked, transfer it to another container. Leaving food in the aluminum pot can cause it to absorb the metal and spoil faster." Best of luck, love from Denmark ❤💕

Don’t come here with your superiority complex trying to teach is about the dangers of aluminum. Yes in Africa we also know aluminum has health risks however, in Europe, you guys also cook with aluminum and you are fine! So we don’t need your teaching

Interesting. I watched a guy in Jamaica the other day make a traditional 'dutch' pot. Very similar process. Nice video. Guys were speaking about what they were doing. Would've preferred to hear them rather than the music.

I am fascinated by this. Surely he can hire a bit more people to make more pots and sell on a mass scale. He can also try pitching it to local investors. I’m sure an ambitious entrepreneur would be willing to partner up. This can bring in a good money on a mass scale, locally and intercontinentally
@Smailakay6 күн бұрын
That’s a great idea, he can sell to a wider range of people that way.

These guys are truly great. Practically without tools, protective gears they can turn out metal pots that require focus and accuracy. Aluminium pots were and are used in Europe and they are safe if you don't try to rub off the oxids that build on their surface. Don't make it shine inside and its okay.

I'm not qualified to answer the health question. But sometimesin Nigeria, if a married woman doesn't have those pots, especially the bigger sizes, it looks as though you are not prepared for large number of visitors. It may sound funny but that's how it it

Don’t disrespect my continent just cos you are pathetic and trying to score points with palm coloured people. If you feel like you are 50 years behind then speak for yourself mxm
