This tutorial and template are awesome. Worked perfectly for my son's last minute Halloween Costume decision. One comment -a written/diagram of the steps to print would be nice vs trying to scroll a video while my hands were holding a hot glue gun.. I have hearing issues and needed to read the captions to figure the process out. One complaint- my bank charged me an international fee for this purchase. It was low bc it was one item, but it would make me reconsider buying another template in the future.

Tried making it but the sidebits came out too short, even though they matched the template perfectly. Does one need to stretch them in a way not shown here? The horn part came out alright, but the part is less elaborate in the template than in your video where it looks nicer

The templates are directly made from the actual pieces I used to make mine Mattihp, so it can't be them... Are you sure that you printed out the templates all at the same scale? What tool did you use to cut the cardboard?

How long it took to finish 1 pice of work

It depends on the prop! 🙂 It goes from 2 weeks to 2 months lol at a rate of a few hours per day, but I have to make them from scratch (without templates and without this tutorial of course) so it's not a good evaluation of the time that you'd spent on it if you decide to make it (if it's the reason why you ask) as you have the templates and this tutorial, it should be much faster for you. ;)

Just wanted to add that you can use a mix of flour, sugar and water, cook it, and use it for the sticky glue for paper mache!

Yes I know, but that's quite overkill to do what I do in this video don't you think? I'm barely considering that I do paper mach in this video lol ... that's just paper and glue basically... Paper mache is an entire different world for me ;)

It won't be good to my opinion because cardboard is not a good material when it comes to that part unfortunately, like at all... Painting them would make all the imperfections much more visible, and they would end up looking like crafts made by a young child lol to a certain extent... besides If I wanted to paint them to make perfect replicas, I would simply use different materials like EVA foam, resin, plastic or even wood, the result would be a way better and the work easier too. but of course it wouldn't be aligned with the topic of this channel which is making props using cardboard only! :)
