Do you mind sharing what length/how long your eva foam is, for the actual blade part? I plan to order the foam online, but not sure what measurements to get. T^T

Hi! I just measured out the blueprint myself and the part for JUST the blade from the base to the tip is roughly (rounded up to the nearest inch) is 48 by 14 inches. Hope this helps!

I think I just messed my foam up. I didn’t let the glue fully dry. I’m guessing it’s a 25-30 minute wait before sticking them together?

hi tiff is it normal that the 10mm foam is like, much thinner respect to the one u use in the video or is it like a perspective illusion?

Would it be okay to use white EVA foam instead if we're painting it? It's all that's near me on short notice.

Tiff has a video of how paint changes tones slightly when using white foam but yeah, totally works with it, you might need extra coats or a darker base.

The color of foam doesn't matter, it all works pretty much the same 😊

No, a hairdryer does not get hot enough as a heat gun would

and maybe replace the sanding drum with something more simple? like simple sanding paper would it be ok?

Im in the same boat as you but I searched it up and it said sanding by hand might make it rougher and wouldn’t do the same as a sanding drum

Ok wait I was looking around online and it looks like if you have a drill you can just get attachment pieces to use that as a sander!! I still need to look into if that would work well but it’s the best option I have RN

Can you use a diffeent glue? One thats non toxic?

I recommend contact cement as this will give you the best results (use with a respirator and in a well vented area or outside). Using other types may vary and not hold as well.
