I been running man 2 man lately & I been doin dis. I call it the man 2 man keys. Ex. 2 man under shade underneath & inside & cover 1 shade underneath & outside. Individually is next level box tho 😂😂

Great video wow. I didn’t realize the importance of shading underneath. Other than Verticals in spread formations, this is what the foundation of a defense should be in my opinion after learning this. The only thing scary is wheel routes but blitzing & 2-man will prevent that. Thanks!

I kill it in zone I just realized the match is busted so I run default zone and go crazy the same. I’m ranked top 100 and I use man to man literally once every 5 games as in one play in a game every 5 games

In say Cover 3 lock does globaly shading effect the solo man coverage player or do we need to do the individual adjustment?

Shading affects zones too. Shading down turns cloud flats to hard flats, seams/quarter flats to curl flats, and curl flats to hard flats. Shading up turns hard flats to cloud flats. I suggest an individual shade on the man player.

7:41 I wouldnt say Goose is the originator of this blitz King Reggie put out the 3-4 odd last year with his Nick Saban defensive videos last year and it had the same setup minus the cb roster glitch. Even then i dont know if King Reg originated that setup either but its been in the game a minute.

either order is fine. just teaching it in a logical fashion that if you shade down but DONT press what the ramifications are. so that's why i saved the press for after the talking point. just a teaching practice. hahaha

All these patches from Madden 24 is more on UT. The tackling is worse it's more META on offense and defense. Offense and defense alignment is way off and still no patch on match defense. It's not you Zan but EA is full of BS for two decades and still today NFL 2k5 still the best sim football of all time.
