Yes. Many artists, for example, get asked to work on new series by the writers or production company. I know recently, a large organization hired a bunch of artists to work on webtoon adaptations of some popular fantasy novels. I'm not sure how common this practice is though

Hi Brandon Chen, I'm really impressed with your work, I want to be a manga artist but i can't draw, its so long way to learn to draw as good as you but im trying to learn how to draw , so i want to try to be a manga author, so i have a manga story, can you read my manga story if its good, i just really need a feedback to my manga story to improve my story telling skills. Im still trying to figure out how to make my comic/manga without a computer or digital software i pefer doing it the old fashioned way and i honeslty just dont have the money at all for softwares but dont know if my book will be taking seriously enough if its strictly handdrawn
