The following ingredients were used in making the Mango Achar. I also summarized the steps we followed in making this achar.
Ingredients:
-25 Green mangoes (grated)
-Salt (3 tablespoon)
-Pepper (3 tablespoon)
-Garlic ( 4 table spoon of grind garlic)
-Achar Masalla (5 tablespoon)
-Mustard oil (1/4 cup)
Summary:
1. Grate the mangoes into small pieces (25 was used in this video)
2. Remove the juice from the grated mangoes
3. Place the grated mango in hot sun for at least one day
4. Add about three (3) tablespoons of salt and mix
5. Add three (3) or four (4) tablespoons of grind pepper
6. Add three (3) or four (4) tablespoons of garlic
7. Add achar masala until there is a dark colour
8. Boil the mustard oil and add. Mix thoroughly.
