Shelia k. Harris the answer to your question is, no...however, there is a lot of butter in the cake recipe. Using the butter wrappers saves the baker from having to use Crisco or the like. May as well use the residual butter on the wrapper instead of just throwing them in the trash.

@@skyyjay6538 any grocery store... on the baking aisle... it's Softsilk cake flour if I'm not mistaken... there are different brands it's in a box.. its JUST cake flour... not boxed cake... most older people use it... and I do also... cause my grandma can tell if it's Duncan Hines, regular flour, or Betty Crocker...💁

I felt compelled to come back to big up this recipe. I made it once and it was delicious. After fixing my execution by being sure to properly cream the butter and sugar, hell yea. This recipe makes a delicious cake and it so EASY TO MAKE. I didn’t need to come back to the video since typed the ingredients and instructions in my notes on my phone. That’s it.
