Upgrading the economic cycle costs a lot of money... You forgot to mention that. Essentially you'd be going into more debt to make your economy slightly better. Thanks for the tip though had no idea about downsizing the military strategy will def give it a go.

I do not agree with "the civilian factories worth not so much,because of the low return of investment" idea. they are pretty useful for building without using your own factories on a puppets territories. You build them up, annex and use them for your own. also millenium dawn makes annexing much better, because if you annex a puppet, its territories become your cores as well, so no resistance, full compliance and tons of factories. It is pretty useful for african games. From first industrial focus make one factory, use naval focuses to get up to two. get two investment, get the taxes up, invest those taxes to the countries around you.Take those countries, make them your puppet,annex them. Rinse and repeat.

that is a good trick but i was more just covering the basics of economy itself and not main strategies like this one. its super awesome but i was just showing the economy side for a general understanding

One thing I noticed while playin as Russia at least that is note worthy, if you increase your population tax above 19%, you lose the bonus of being a "Rentier State" as well.

I dont get the International Investment one if 1 Foreign Factory Chats 10.7 and returns roughly 0.4 and you devide those than you schuld get the number 26,75 that zehn beeing the needed number of returns to Make it Pay for itself Werner its 2.6 years or 6.5 months that seems like a quick return i dont understand the calculation that returned you Around 20 years

I’d say focus on paying off a majority of your debt and and increasing welfare and healthcare and then use your surplus for international investments to gain influence and build up countries you wish to puppet and annex

I dosagree with the economic growth change. Yeah it benefits xour weekly income. But each step cost not only polical power, it costs also around 400billions to change it. And if you are unlucky a event change it back to recession. So you got nothing except for big debts

i Hugely disagree with prioritizing population taxes, if office sectors sole purpose is making money, then i would advise focusing civs early so that when u do up your corporate tax, u dont suffer from having too few civs because u largely upped your civ count early and you still have a functioning civ eco. So early game is civ building, then after a few years you switch to office sectors. Increase corp tax, lower pop tax. Make mega bucks. population tax is nice but it pales in comparison to corp tax. So lowering corp tax to 10% seems just plain stupid. by lowering pop tax you increase stability which then increases a whole bunch of modifiers and allows ur governing popularity to stay in power which is vital for a lot of focuses. China, russia, US should all be pushing office sectors. As well as researching eco. a few years in you can switch to mil tech because you have built up the early game civ count needed to just focus on office sectors. Also lowering welfare and medical for the short term is a great way to boost income. You can always increase it up again once you have the money again to afford it.

Corporate taxes are good if you have so much construction that you can use some for money and it is excellent, I dont recommend office sectors only the big original 3 be it construction, mil and navy. Civ / construction gives money and construction, worked for me when playing Poor countries, rich countries, China against Japan and India and many other
