What's the proposed asset allocation on the portfolio discussed?
@RaniyanhunterАй бұрын
The stock markets dividends motivated me to start investing. What counts in my opinion is that you will be able to live off dividends without selling if you invest and make more money in addition to payouts. It suggests that you can give your children that advantage giving them a head start in life. I’ve invested more than $400k throughout the years in dividends stocks, I’m still buying more today and will keep doing so until the price drops even further. I believe I’m not alone on this

It’s possible to share how to invest for income. I tried to research for Dividend stocks or Dividend ETFs, but with so much information, I am not sure how to sieve out the good ones, any thoughts?
@Mlanderos-t9eАй бұрын
My portfolio is made up of Dividend ETF's, dividend stocks, and growth stocks. I like a mixture as it allows a bit more freedom in specific areas. I mean I couldn’t do this successfully on my own without the help of my CFA

I want a balanced portfolio, with growth investments, safe investments, and also focus on dividends. I may not be making good decisions. Please I need suggestions on how to go about it.

Diversifying your portfolio is the best sensible strategy. You can speak with a financial advisor. Personally, I work with Judith Lynn Staufer, she has extensive knowledge of portfolio diversification and she’s considered an expert in the field..

Awesome video man! Do you suggest copy trading as good approach for beginner to start with trading or should I just invest long term while I learn things on how day trading works?? Thank you!
@VernDubin501Ай бұрын
Focus on long term investments in property, stocks, and bonds. Avoid copying, daytrading and 'chart astrology'. Diversify across different geographies, industries, and value chain stages - to reduce your risk. You can do this with ETFs, or by selecting different stocks yourself. This is the best way to invest for more than 90% of people.
@Wonderfulwill182Ай бұрын
I successfully trade in my own portfolio, and also follow others because I'm interested in their strategies. I realized I've got better at managing the trader's strategies too. There's nothing wrong at all with having someone far more dedicated manage some of your portfolio.
@DulcedeLeche482Ай бұрын
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same question 4 years ago. I was confused as heck. Now copying other traders for over 3 years, I would like to tell you, YES copy trading is a good approach. Just keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. Make sure you know who you are dealing with before copying them. My two cents. Goodluck!

"It's usually best to ignore the trend whether bullish or bearish and stick to a proper trading plan maybe from the help of a professional. I recently just started investing again so I am still in touch with the consultant that provides entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. She does all the technical analysis legwork while I go about my other businesses. You can use something else if you are the DIY type of guy, investing has no one way to do it".

@frankbarnes2228 күн бұрын
MSFT is more valuable than SCHD as of now, though many people perceive it to be a bubble
@monicawill528 күн бұрын
I love SCHD and currently own 2604 shares. I regularly buy more shares, but I also invest in growth stocks/ETFs. Right now, I focus on growth, but I plan to switch to dividend-paying value stocks/ETFs eventually. It’s advisable to engage guidance for a well-diversified portfolio instead of relying solely on speculations. That’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.

I've just begun learning about value investing, and I've found that many good stocks are undervalued despite their intrinsic value. If you had $200,000 to create a strong investment portfolio, which stocks would you choose for better returns?
@Dwayne-765tАй бұрын
I think a good investment portfolio should have three basic things: ETFs for diversification, dividend stocks for cash flow, and leading tech stocks. With your budget, it's a good idea to talk to a fiduciary financial advisor for expert advice.
@gwendymolly5953Ай бұрын
I agree with you. As an early investor in NVDA, AVGO, ANSS, and LRCX, my financial advisor's advice was incredibly helpful. Over the past 7 years, she has helped me find stocks that did 10x multiple times. With her help, I've grown my portfolio to over a million dollars.

I am awfully late in investing at 33 with just about $80,000 in savings as i have never invested in the stock market. I’m worried about missing out on compound interest and want to make smart choices for my future. If I invest aggressively, can I still retire with at least $1 million by age 65?
@carolynrose1816Ай бұрын
Yes, you can. Investing $80,000 in the S&P 500 at an 8% annual return will grow to about $805k in 30 years. Financial advisors can achieve 10-15% returns, so do your research and consider consulting one.

Dividends from SCHD are typically taxed at the qualified dividend rate, which may be lower than ordinary income tax rates for many investors. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.
