Thank you so much for the helpful info! Question: so, in the beginning, you mention the two types of people who this visa would be suited for. In the first type, you mentioned people who can earn money remotely. I have worked remotely as a voice actor for some years. Would I be able to legally continue this remote work (i.e. doing freelance remote work for companies/clients outside of Korea) on an E6 visa? Also… You are only required to earn 6 million won within Korea per year?? (1:48) So around $5000 USD? I would love to do creative work in Korea on an E6 Visa, while supplementing my income with my existing freelance voiceover work.

THIS. Nobody ever answers this! There’s no use in saying dm people and network but then not saying HOW to go about doing it. Like how do we find out about these networking events and WHO are we supposed to be looking out for to dm or try and buy old up a relationship with to extend your career and networking pathways

How did you get your E2 pension for teaching with epic if you didn’t leave Korea. Were you able to get your pension money or does the government hold it?

Or just tell them I've no experience but i can act, and send them your acting short video . But keep one thing in your mind, no matter how good actor you are, you'll never get any main role. korean entertainment industry give main roles only to East Asians
