This video is pretty old and you probably won't see this, but you can use the left side of the graveyard if you read the sign and talk to the inquisitor. It allows you to make a lot more money from the church because of the nearly doubled potential rating.

Yep, and also, if you know what you're doing, after identifying the good organ(s) of a corpse (2+ white skull parts) and extracting those + all the other needed spares, it's best to cremate corpses. For the graveyard, one can easily get 300+ rating by just placing lawns EVERYWHERE. It will end up costing about 330 stone and 110ish peat, but will easily satisfy main questline requirements while also getting big buck very early from sermons. This way it's simpler to deal with corpses too, you give donkey plenty of carrots to keep 'em coming, you build some starting shitty pallets or something to increase corpse cap to at least 5 to have them pile on and rot in the morgue, and once in a blue moon(literally) you go scrap them and burn them. You don't need to spend time decorating graves and hauling decorations, no time wasted daily preventing corpses from rotting, all that time can be spent doing fun quests and actually progressing in the game instead. The good organs (+2 white skull) keep in mortuary racks or hell maybe some trunks in the yard, they're good for decent 32% zombies, and the best parts (+3 white skull) organs stash for final graveyard build, where you need +16 graves (organs 3+3+3, +2 from removing blood and fat, +5 from all embalming solutions). This also means no real need to get gentle butcher/surgeon perks 'till making zombies, and by then foods with steady hands buff should be available so you save big time on points, also no need to invest any points in embalming 'till then either.

@@Skrymaster Yeah, the groundskeeper (as I call it) is always a good route if you just want to focus on the incredibly fun automation systems in the game, and good for making it till you have enough money and time to do the real goal of the game, getting even more money.

Thanks so much for this, I found the game very frustrating when it came to making money. I tried making honey as a means but you can't sell it anywhere, so I went down the booze skill tree and found out you can't sell that either. I tried selling crops too but I seemed to be loosing money with each batch of crops (I might just suck at math). It's a fun game so I don't to give up on it but I'm tired of spending time just with it to find out I can't make money to way I planned.

By this point you've probably already figured it out, but honey does translate to a nice bit of money if you make it into cakes. They sell for up to 69 coppers at the merchant.

For future pbarkeepers. 1. Dont sell crops. Turn them into food and sell that to the barkeep. Beets and carrots are best because you can cook em all at once and walk away. 2. In the merchants storyline, you'll eventually be able to sell him silver and gold crops at a good markup through crates. 3. Beer and wine are the best money makers, either sell them at your bar but if you can't wait and need money sell silver and bronze quality to the barkeep and Gold to the special merchant who comes on brown day. Early game woes? Spend a day mining, then head home, smelt the iron, and turn all of it into nails and simple parts. Sell it to the blacksmith. Bonus tip: fishing can actually be pretty lucrative, and while fishing, time doesn't pass. Just takes a bit of work unlocking his better tiers. You can also cook the good fish you catch and sell it to brown merchant. ALL GOLD FOODS ARE SOLD TO HIM ALONE. Final tip: prioritize wine, then opening the bar for MAXIMUM PROFITS! Last tip: the witch buys potions at a pretty good price, too. Brotip: sell excess stone and wood to the brothers. Eventually, that resource becomes infinite AND passive.

The farming method is a great idea, even if you don't invest much of it, because you don't need to maintain it like stardew valley, just plant, and it will grow. It also goes a long way for making sure you have carrots so the donkey will drop bodies.

You need fertilizer still, preferably quality II. It's not very hard to make. If you plant without quality fertilizers, you'l lose seeds which is a huge pain since you'll need to buy extra from vendors and at a limited stock. So don't even plant anything before getting at least Peat (from the shepherd at the north of the village, it's cheap)

IDK if things have changed much since this video, but I can say at present selling Shovel II to the blacksmith is probably a better way to make money than most of these. It's certainly easier to get that set up than maxing out your graveyard. Just sell and rebuy a couple stacks of parts until he gives in and tiers up. Then you can make a very decent profit-- 5.25 silver for a few carrot cutlets worth of work.

You can only sell 17 gold wine per week to the merchant without him creating a backlog of it. However you can sell far more at your own tavern with the new DLC.

Selling fish early/mid game to the fisherman isn't bad money, fair money off of what you can catch in the sea with some maggots and a mid range rod. Tuna sell for 83c, salmon 1s10c and aren't overly hard to find. Keep any anchovies or gudgeon you find to use as bait in the river north of home for some bigger catches if that interests you. Haven't tried selling the quality meats.

sell shovel 2 to krezvold -> he will sell your shovel 2 and his budget will increase really fast.in my late game krezvold even richer than the merchant .beside shovel 2 don't reduce price when u sell large quantity

Don't bury bodies early on incinerate them. To do that progress in the quests. Finish a lot of quests for Snake so you get Frankensteins monster "zombies". You get silver by breaking ore slabs in the quarry. Don't forget to bring those wooden wedges. The quarry is north west of your house so you need to fix a bridge and remove rubble next to the bee hives.

Yes, incineration it's probably the best option early on until you can get those 12 white skulls corpses, but it's also true that early on performing sermons it's probably the best money making method and to do that you want to bury the best corpses you can get 😄

@@afoolishmortal5265 By iron i meant iron complex parts through the mercant with the material boxes.That's the easyest and fastest way to make money you don't even need quality zombies just ones with 5-7 skuls will work.U can easily empty the blacksmiths pockets though with coal.Use coal to buy tools from him dont waste your grinding stone till you get at least tier 1 tools.After u get his 10 silver though he wont regain any more money.

Buy something from him and sell him blessings of commerce you can get from using the prayer at the church, any NPC should restock with more gold than before after a while

everything in this game is so needlessly convoluted and complicated. i played for seven hours and it felt like going nowhere fast.

There are a lot of things to do and different game mechanics, but that's what makes the game fun in my opinion. What were your biggest issues?

It sure is, but once you figure everything out and get all stuff sorted you'll find your progress accelerate and things will go better. It took me about 24 hours of total playtime to get going. The best tip I have is start doing the quests for any character you can (except for DLC, It's only useful later). They unlock very useful things and tech trees. The most annoying thing for me is the energy and tired debuff, you need a good food source at all times. And manage your inventory carefully.

Once you figure something out sit back and think about it and it will seem fairly simple and obvious... How convoluted is creating basic objects and then making secondary products from them?? Just remember convoluted means needlessly complicated. There is nothing needlessly complicated in this game, if anything its been dumbed down.

I believe so. The 12 white skull corpses should be used on the graveyard, but if you turn them into zombies, you should get better performing zombies. Burning the bad corpses is always a good idea.

yeah that's useful for the graveyards. I've done a video explaining how yo get a 12 white skull bodies.

You can make a 16 white skull body by doing the following : 1) Get the cultist perk by doing the inquisitor questline and visiting 3 witch burnings 2) Harvest 2 +3/+3 and 1 -2/+3 organs (heart, brain and intestines have the same set of skull values). Hav the butcher and surgeon perks as well. 3) Get any corpse and implant the 3 best organs. You should have a 4/9 body. 4) Start the injections. Lye for +1/+1, glue for 0/+1, silver for -1/+1 and gold for -2/+2. You should have a 2/14 body by now. 5) Remove the blood and fat for -2/+2, and there you have a pure 16 white skull body. Make a zombie out of it, since any skulls beyond 12 only benefit zombie work efficency, unless they add better gravestones and fences in the future.

I started to play yesterday and I already opened the church ...🤔😄.....honestly opening a church is not that hard u can easly do the equipements to make wood crosses etc and if u do the autopsy (inonly have one upgread in that knowledge id didnt took long to get it) and after easy fix on the graveyard I have trouble to get the blue token...

Hi James, thanks for the comment. Yes, indeed, but you do spend money with exhumation. That's what I did before. I had the graveyard full of bad bodies and I've exhumed them and burred better bodies :P
