Making your own printables to download is also an avenue. Especially in the craft space. It is work up front, but perpetual afterwards.

Just including with your video description. I would imagine if you had them on etsy or the like it's no problem to just use those links in your video descriptions. I'm not terribly familiar with etsy, so please confirm that that's an ok use.

@@DianeMoore Yes, many crafters create printables and sell them on either Etsy or Ko-Fi. Ko-fi also has a way to upload giveaway printables. Both are a good place to start before setting up your own website.

@@leniecolleenford On your own channel. For example, I make a printable to be used in an art journal, I also make a video using that printable in my own journal. OR I make a printable of a journal page that I featured on my channel. Many artists do this. Or they create classes to sell.

Well just think through maybe a part of a DIy that’s pretty complicated for lots of people and perhaps do a short video course where you show explicitly step by step how you do it. Always concentrate on a “pain point” your audience may have and then show how to solve it

Hi, Diane. I have been watching you and contemplating a channel of my own. I am an endometrial cancer survivor (so far), and I was planning on talking about my journey. However, I did what you suggest and looked up endometrial cancer stories on the search bar but I found that a lot of them were from years ago and the channels were medical channels just posting women's stories. Do you think it would be a good idea to put it out there and see what happens, or move on to another topic (I have plenty, lol). Thanks

Donna, I would certainly think there would be people who are looking for related stories - especially if you're finding mostly old ones. People are looking for hope from people who have overcome things and/or people who can share firsthand knowledge. If that's the big desire on your part, I certainly think there are people seeking that kind of content.

I would agree that it's certainly worth your time watching some videos on the basics of how to create a thumbnail in canva. Once you have it done, hit share, download, choose jpg. Once you have your downloaded jpg from canva, you can add that directly to your video in youtube studio.
