Hello Miss Diane! I love Love LOVE this!! Everything you said is what I needed to hear. I am 54 and have had a youtube channel for a couple years. Mostly paper crafts but occasional concert footage and misc. I only film and post when I am able, which is about once a month for now, as it does take me a while to do the editting and uploading, but I am okay with that. I have a small number of subscribers compared with most; but little by Iittle I am getting them, along with likes and comments, and have come to accept gradual growth. I love your points about using youtube for documenting your life, looking back upon later, and seeing that we are growing. And that you never know when you may be helping someone else in some way :) Thank you! 😀

I have peeps telling me all the time to do videos of me doing things. Like fixing the holes in my Sheetrock. Because they’re impressed or inspired or whatever. They think I’m amazing for doing things even though I’m blind. I’m not. I just remember how to do the stuff and don’t have anyone else to do it. But I wouldn’t be able to set the camera up well and certainly couldn’t edit. And there’d be lots of cussing and frequent injury. lol. I’m in awe of how much courage and gumption you’ve got! You have a great voice for instruction. 🫶🏼😎🫶🏼

I know this is so off subject but the glitch in the video was so funny on Justin’s face-

I see a lot of these type of videos go by, but all of them are USA or Canada orientated. None of them regard people living outside certain countries.....and that's sad. KZbin discriminates badly .

I've been thinking about it for years lol I tried a Tarot channel, but I wasn't so comfortable because I'm still learning. Now, I don't know what to do lol

KZbin was the only job I’ve i’ve ever had where I loved what I did was constantly researching, was constantly improving, and got tons of great comments and loyal followers on my channel with over 100,000 viewers. I even got my plaque. The biggest problem was after 10 years. I was making the exact same part-time salary for a full-time job that I was making when I first started. Of course I sold on Amazon I had written TWO books I was on social media platforms and consistently religiously uploaded new videos every single week. I still made a part-time salary. If your priority is to just do something that you love and the money doesn’t matter, you’ll be OK. I paid for Music. I paid for Assistance with SEO and Marketing-And still, I made a part-time salary for a full-time job. The average KZbinr earns 5500 less dollars a year than a McDonald’s employee working the same amount of hours. I did not get on KZbin to get rich however it took over my life and I could not get a lot of other things in my life done or taken care of because I was too concerned with trying to break that poverty level pay that I was getting paid. Please don’t be fooled by the super popular make up artists or some of the unusual high paid KZbinrs. Anyone can google this, the outstanding majority of KZbin influencers earn below the poverty level.* in the US
