You know, for a guy who puts really very little effort into this little business, you don't do too badly each year. I mean, it isn't thousands a year, but it's not too shabby for the time you put in. I am encouraged by your numbers more than I am with someone showing me those thousands... because it means that even I could make a few dollars each year if I get my behind in gear and do it. I wonder if part of your sales is because each year you add a few new books, thereby increasing the total books you have in your repertoire... and making your books then able to be found easier. Like in KZbin... the more videos you upload, the more likely you'll be found. Very few KZbinrs can only upload a few videos and actually get the numbers needed to get monetized and all that. I wonder if there's a similar thing in KDP. It would make sense if there is. I have heard a few KDP "gurus" say you need a minimum of 100 books to get decent sales... which is why I wonder if there's something to my theory. Just a weird thought.

I think the more you books you have, the more you sell (potentially, anyway), and a good portion of my dec/jan sales are planners and appointment books so you're right, it definitely helps my totals. I think the amount I make (with the amount of effort I put in) makes it seem more achievable to make money with KDP. No doubt about it though, the more you put in, the more you get out!
