I recently joined a paid group that is teaching this biz. I was shocked to see the blackhat tactics they are using to get GMB verification. Had I known that GMB is crucial for ranking visibility, I would not have joined the group. I don't want to lie to get GMB verified for different sites. But people in the group are calling what they're doing a "workaround". They're lying about having a physical address that they don't. I can't get past this dishonest aspect of this biz model. They also say that it isn't necessary to get a GMB to rank a website. But several online sources say that GMB does matter unless you're ok with waiting for months for the site to rank organically without GMB. So who to believe? How do you address this issue?
