Very great info! Took some notes of insights to share with clients. My favorite was learning about the mount mapping workflow.

Good info, might be a good way to get off the towers and stay in the industry.

That's for sure. Especially after hurricane Ian in Florida

Why wouldn’t the carriers just train their techs to fly their own drones?

Do you know how many cell towers there are? More than the amount of employees they have. It’s much easier for them to hire a third-party to go and inspect the towers. I just did two cell tower inspections today and and I’m a drone pilot working for a technology company.

$50? For an inspection? That is very low not even worth it

$50 x 4 towers (25min per) = $200 per hour .. going based off that method that is about the average for use of drone but for the type of job it is and software you’d be using definitely a low ball .. should be at least a $1,500 job

That's what people told the founder of McDonalds when he said he wanted to sell hamburgers for 5 cents each. They thought he was crazy. It's all about scaling in business.

@@ScoFish If the sites are within 30min of each other then awesome. But if the sites are widely spread apart then the RPIC will lose out on gas unless that's established and adjusted in the contract. I'd hate to drive from Minnesota to Iowa then Maine for 4 sites.
