In this video, I am trying to explain different financial job roles/profiles. This is part 2 where I am talking about role of a Mobile mortgage specialist/Home loan advisor and I am also trying to discuss about mortgage career in a retail bank and in a mortgage brokerage firm. I have discussed how to become a mortgage broker, education/licences required (cost of the licence and education). I also briefly discuss the role of estate/trust administrator role, wealth manager role and a branch manager role in retail bank. I will talk about the roles, duties, salaries and many more things. I have also attempted to explain the certifications required or the certification essential which can give you an edge in the selection process.
These certifications are from Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and the courses are:

c) Mortgage licence courses of different provinces

About to register in EXPRESS ENTRY pool once I get my wife IELTS scores. I am planning to pursue my career in Banking Sector in Canada. Let me try and answer your questions: a) I am not employed yet, I have 4 yrs of banking experience from India hence I am trying to build a banking banking career here. b) CSC vs IFC - Well you should watch below video and decide :-) kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGHZfpeLjbuXirc c) Should you do it from India? You can but I wont personally recommend, reason being that Canada is currently having travel restrictions and you don't know how long it will take to ease things up. Given the fact that these courses let you apply for license within 3 yrs of clearing the exam, I dont think you should eat up in that period specially since your PR process is just starting and it will take atleast a year to land here. Moreover, it barely takes 1-2 months in preparing for the exam (atleast that was the case with me) and you can surely do that once you land here. Hope that answers your question! Stay safe :)

Hi Denver. You are asking a very good question. The first part about the income is subjective and dependent under which brokerage you happen to work with; but in general a broker agency do tend to get more number of clients compared to a territorial bank outlet.
