Where do I order the supplies I need to make the display turntable I already have a lazy Susan like you have in your video from Ikea already own one of those I just need the power motor and the turn on switch and all the other supplies that you had in the video to make it rotate. Maybe add an inline fuse designed for 120 or 240 volt (whichever is appropriate) say, 10 amps? Also, use a three wire plug with ground to case? Shrink wrap tubing for better insulation?

They use very low power. Somewhere between 3-4 watt. A much smaller fuse would be ideal

@@brentonsword6688 I saw a formula watts/voltage, and then at 200% load. I mainly want to protect against a short. I'm glad for your answer! I think I'll go with an inline 0.1 amp. That 10 amp would have been much to high. Thank you!

Mains volatage is very dangerous if not lethal! At least issue a warning in your video. Don't use an unsuitable potentiometer!

Just use a low voltage DC Motor with a transformer. Or insulate the contacts so that you can't touch the live wire.

I bought one, and I noticed that too. Luckily the problem is easy to fix, but it's a shame that the QC at the factory is so poor. Finding the centre of a circle is very easy. The bearing is also very poor quality, and doesn't run very well. As luck would have it, I had a far higher quality bearing just sitting in a box at home, so I swapped it for that, and it runs really smoothly now.

@@vonburemann9942 AC is direct 127/220 volts feed from your wall plug directly to the motor, main connectors to the motor are exposed, no insulation at all, if you touch both pins accidentally when it is plugged in, you will be electrocuted, you need to insulate the pins/connectors individually.

Using a potentiometer with a synchronous motor is not the way to adjust the speed. Replace this motor with a stepper motor and controller.
